Can't say enough. He still practices psychotherapy and puts medication into a context so I never felt I was a failure who had to be drugged.

Is caring and compassionate. Is very invested in the well-being of his patients. Almost no wait time, often will take you early, if he can. Responds quickly to phone calls. A life saver!!!

I saw several doctors who put me on medicines that didn't work and caused side effects. Dr. Blackmon listened, then too the time to make an accurate diagnosis instead of writing for more drugs. I recommend.

Just about the best that there is. Have had excellent sessions with this doctor who is intelligent and compassionate.

Cannot say enough good things about this doctor. He is caring, compassionate, and know a great deal about mental issues and medicine. I have tried other psychiatrists but have always gone back to him when I could sense that I was losing control. I cannot recommend him more highly.

I had seen other psychiatrists who simply put me on a lot of medicines. Dr. Blackmon took several hours to interview me carefully and make an accurate assessment. He was careful and very kind.I highly recommend.
