Dr. Wayne Lynn Bruffett, MD

My husband was hurt at work and we was warned before seeing Dr. Buffett that he always sided with the insurance companies, we dismissed that because my husband is actually hurt and what doctor would do such a thing right, boy was we mistaken he talked to the insurance lady more than he did us making sure she was getting her stuff wrote down. I told him about how he hurts in his sleep and moaning and he didn’t care at all. I’m beyond disappointed in this behavior a doctor should always put the patient first and try to help them when they are in pain, We are getting a second opinion even though we was told we didn’t have that right and had to use the doctors that we was provided. So DISAPPOINTED.

I've only met with Dr. Bruffet once so far. I was cranky for many reasons and filled with anxiety so perhaps my attitude and poor demeanor caused him to give me the cold shoulder. I'm hoping to improve my rating and experience after my future visits with him. I only chose Dr. Bruffet simply because he is a religious man and that means everything to me. I have been injured and in pain for so long and have experienced some of the most hurtful, cold hearted doctors out there but, I am going to keep my faith with Dr. Bruffet and pray that Jesus led me to him for a reason. This is in God's hands now. ????

I have known Dr. Bruffett as a colleague and patient for over 20 years. Unfortunately, he has operated on myself numerous times in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar regions. I have had good results with my surgeries. I have referred him many patients through the years and they have done well. His assistant, Terry is outstanding. She’s an extremely kind and caring person who does an excellent job.

He He does what he says,explains it w Elll And is a christion man, also tells how it is does not beat around the bush. Excellent surgeon!!!

My wife Kelly went to Dr Bruffett because she was losing her ability to walk. She saw Trent Tappan PA. He couldn’t find the problem with all the tests he preformed. Other doctors had told us nothing wrong and sent her home. Trent Tappan had the DILIGENCE to refer her to a neurologist where her found early cancer in both lungs. The cancer had affected her nerves. If it hadn’t been for the Bruffett Team, the cancer would have advanced. The results would have been fatal. The Bruffett Team took the time to save my wife’s life. I pray that if my grandchildren decide to go into medical field, they are fortunate enough to come across the Bruffett Team a true blessing. Jerry Murray

He is a great Christian man that is very knowledgeable, caring, understanding. He listens to you, then takes action! He is my favorite doctor.

I went 30 days with a pain level of 10 non stop. I went to a chiropractor family Dr, ER, pain management Dr with no relief. I made an appt with Dr Bruffet for the 1st time. He was off that day so I seen his PA Tappan. He looked at my MRI and took me serious and knew I was in pain and needed surgery. I said Dr Bruffett was off today and he would look at my case and could probably do surgery next week. I explained the pain was so bad I couldn’t wait that long. So he text Dr Bruffett on his day off pics of my MRI. He realized how much pain I was in and agreed to do a micro Discectomy the next day. Surgery was performed and I have been pain free every since. Dr Bruffett was a godsend to me. I’m very grateful for his talents and how much he cares to help someone in pain.

When I needed surgery to repair my herniated disc, I was a bit afraid, but Dr. Bruffett assured my with in depth explanations of my procedure and the healing process. Then before surgery we prayed together, to me this made him an awesome surgeon! Thanks Dr. Bruffett for a great job !

After my back surgery I had a follow-up visit. First I had to wait for 2 hours to be seen. Second I told him at my first visit that my foot was numb and he stated that, "it was not swollen so it may have been the pushing on the nerve". During my follow-up meeting I told him again. that my foot and the lower part of my leg was numb. He acted like I was offending him personally. Needless to say he did nothing to help nor did he recommend a follow-up. One thing he did do was walk about of the room and talk about me to the nurse and doctor that was at the desk. This is a sad way to treat a patient. Even if you have reservations as a doctor at least you can act like you care.

Dr. Bruffett is an outstanding doctor and surgeon. Absolutely no pain and quick recoveries for me about 15 years ago and my wife a couple of years ago. Very attentive with excellent "bedside" manners
