Medical gaslighting at its finest. Dr Cornblath NEVER examined my eyes!

Dr. Cornblath has changed over the years. Where he used to be kind and informative, he is now becoming rude and condescending. I no longer feel comfortable with him as my provider.

My husband had an appointment today with Dr. Cornblath. We found him thorough and personable. His two associates were just excellent. It was nice to get answers about my husband's eye health after undergoing brain surgery.

I saw Dr. Cornblath for the first time this month. I was pretty nervous about going to see him, not knowing if he would take the time to listen to my concerns and be thorough. He was very nice and very personable. I had a list of questions and he asked me to share all of them and let him know if there were any other concerns I had. I liked the way he interacted with the residents and med students. He took the time to explain things to them and never talked down to them. I am very happy I switched from Henry Ford to U of M and Dr. Cornblath.

Took my son to Dr. Cornblath for reoccurring optic neuritis! He was very kind, took his time with us and very informative! He was the only Dr to test my son for MOG disease over all the other Dr's that he went to. I highly recommend this Dr for any neuro- eye issues.

Like others mentioned, I too was looking forward to this visit to help get some answers that I wouldn’t get close to home. I travelled 7 hours for this day. The assistant charted/verified my history and I did a couple routine peripheral tests that I recently did with my regular optometrist. The doctor came into the room, looked in my eyes for a split second once they were dilated then sent me on my way. He was not interested in hearing my concerns, answering my questions, or giving me any advise besides, “Call us if your symptoms gets worse.” Never once smiled. His resident doctor and techs seemed to take note and had similar demeanors. Too bad because other doctors at U of M seem to be quite interested in the individual patient.

Dr. Cornblath is the best doctor I've seen for migraine treatment. He is sympathetic and caring, and I have seen massive improvements since beginning botox treatments with him

Was sent to Dr. C because is was supposed to be an experienced specialist for hard to diagnose case. He has no bedside manner, no eye contact; shows no real interest in the patient other than a routine reading of the computerized chart; did not acknowledge person who accompanied patient; is a terrible example for med residents who followed him in like puppets; resents being questioned (I am an experienced health professional); is arrogant; offered absolutely no new information about the patient's medical condition; appeared to not care; ordered routine blood work;; and was annoyed when asked how we could have the results sent to primary care doc off site; This MD Visit with a 2 hour wait (standard for this doctor) was a complete waste of time and a hardship for a sick patient; Good example of how not to practice medicine.

I've been seeing Dr Cornblath for several years and while he was very informative and courteous for my initial appointments and diagnosis, his bedside manner has gone down hill over the last few years. I now feel like a statistic, since that seems all he talks about. Im rushed through my followup visits and any questions i have seem insignificant. The last appointment and dealings with him and his staff was the last straw. its hit and miss with the staff. Some are courteous, some are borderline rude. Moving on.

The Dr and all of the staff are wonderful.
