Dr. Wayne Thomas Fellows, DO

Took my daughter to patient first in Collegeville, PA because she's been sick for over a week with cough, congestion, sore throat. No fever and no loss of taste and smell. She isn't responding to over the counter meds so thought she needed something prescribed. Waited 2 hrs to be seen, and was actually ok with that, because I know alot of people are sick right now. Once we get to the examining room nurse comes in and immediately does rapid covid test, fine. Dr Fellows comes in tells us rapid test is negative. Great, I wasn't expecting anything different. I expected to then have the Dr examine her and determine what IS the problem and prescribe something to treat the actual illness....he punched in a few things in the computer, handed me the print outs and said to get her Flonase to help with congestion. He never EXAMINED her and was ready to send us on our way after they took covid pcr sample...ummm wait a minute. I didn't go there for a covid test, if that's all I wanted… I would have gone to local pharmacy. I took her there for Dr care. How is this acceptable? Worst Dr care ever, and when I pressed for more he had 1 foot out the door, clearly not interested in providing the appropriate attention. I expect Drs to care for people today the same way they did before covid. If covid didn't exist, would he have examined her, check her ears throat and lungs? Taken a strep test? People still get sick with other things other than covid and require medical intervention. Dr Fellows, I think it's time you hang up your white coat if you are no longer interested in taking care of sick people.
