I have a congenital heart defect and know that finding a capable cardiologist is not an easy thing to do. After winding up in the hospital, the cardiologist on staff recommended Dr. Franklin. Best decision I ever made. They found out I had developed Pulmonary Hypertension and have had me on the road to feeling better since day one. Dr. Franklin has called me several times personally to let me know of test results, and gives me time as a patient to ask questions and express concerns. He is not only a very talented Dr. but a wonderful, nice human being as well.

As a 28 year old with a very, very serious congenital heart condition (let's just say I'm no stranger to open-heart), he is my favorite cardiologist I have ever had. And, I've had a few...and not just in Texas. I travel from Austin to see him and it's definitely worth it. He is attentive and makes you feel at ease, his intelligence is apparent, but not cocky (like most cardiologists I've known). Really, I can't say enough good things. Oh, did I mention he's a dreamboat? Makes my heart skip-a-beat or two. Good thing I have a pace-maker.

I was referred to Dr. Franklin for pulmonary heart valve replacement at St. Lukes in Houston. Dr. Franklin and all of his staff were extremely kind, professional and caring. During my hospital stay Dr. Franklin visited me regularly and gave the nurses prompt and precise instructions and handled everything with ease. I experienced some difficulties after surgery and Dr. Franklin was very reassuring to me and my family. I would definately recommend Dr. Franklin to anyone seeking a great cardiologist.

I am very satisfied with Dr. Franklin and his staff. Everyone is very nice and Dr. Franklin was helpful in treating me for my heart issue and continues to be helpful.
