Dr. Wayne Karl Stadelmann, MD

Dr. Stadelmann refused to use post OP antibiotics which resulted in a severe infection. I had a skin cancer which was invasive requiring significant surgery and a skin graft. Within days the site was badly infected requiring urgent care.Dr. Stadelmann did not respond .His physician assistant did...still no oral antibiotics were prescribed. I developed a sizable abscess which he sent me back to the PA...still no contact with Dr. Stadelmann. His P.A. was pleasant but minimally responsive until I insisted that the infection be properly treated with antibiotics. This is not acceptable surgical care!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Dr Stadelmann patiently answered every question and concern that I had. It is obvious that he truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients. I was a bit nervous heading into surgery, but is polite and lighthearted bedside manner put me at ease at every interaction. I’m only 3 weeks post-op and the results are more than I could have hoped for. I won’t go to anyone else!

I had surgery with Dr. Statesman recently. He was excellent in treating me. I also had a nurse observe his "prepping" me for surgery. She had been in OR but never seen how he reached his end result. Dr. took a lot of time explaining each measurement in his kind quiet way. I too enjoyed that step.

Not only a very successful procedure, but excellent explanations, and future advice.

Dr. Stadelmann was willing to take time to understand what it was that I wanted and carefully explained why, aesthetically, certain things wouldn't work. He has the eye of an artist and the paitience of a saint!!
