9 months later… still having misaligned eyes, muffled/underwater/busted speaker sounds, heavy fatigue…. Dr. Villanueva does nothing for your symptoms… he misdiagnosed me… telling me my ventricles were normal and became slit-like, and we needed to get back to normal… turns out my ventricles have always been slit-like. Slit-like is my normal. Now that we have called into question his handling of my surgery, he has told us I had been released as his patient. Beware, this doctor will ignore your pains and say everything is fine, when you are not fine and your body and medical history speak otherwise. Then if you call into question his direction or procedures, he will send you on your way. His negligence is beyond a shock and the disrespect to his profession is disappointing.

My husband was told his ventricles were normal and became slit-like… Dr. Villanueva wanted to bring them back to normal… Turns out my husbands ventricles have been slit-like his whole life and he lied about them being normal… therefore, he enlarged my husbands ventricles and I have witnessed him suffering with daily sporadic hydrocephalus symptoms almost 7 months now… Dr. Villanueva just says he cannot help my husband and fired him… this sounds like a money-grab… do not ever trust this doctor… he’ll operate on you and say there is nothing else he can do… If Dr. Villanueva had done his homework, like most doctors do, he would’ve known my husbands ventricles have been normally slit-like and not scared us into thinking we needed surgery… Dr. Villanueva leaves us no choice but to go after his medical negligence

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. V. about 4 years ago when I had my back surgery. His staff was friendly and helpful when getting my tests and surgery scheduled. It's hard sometimes to get an appointment but that's because he's the best in his field, in my opinion. I don't mind waiting to get into see him knowing I have the best of the best. I was recently diagnosed with Neuropathy and chose to go back to Dr. V. because of the great care I received during my last surgery. If you don't mind waiting for an appointment, to see a great Dr., I highly suggest Dr. Villanueva.

This physician group sends surly, terse paperwork to patients prior to the first visit. In addition the physician group apparently cares more for themselves than the patient. Beyond the poor attitude, I found the practice manager to be uninformative and inept. No one cares about the patient so why would one trust their surgeries?

Dr Villanueva is not only a great surgeon but a very nice caring person

I think Dr. Villanueva is great. He takes his time explaining procedures and he is a skilled surgeon. His office staff is awful. One hung up on me after yelling at me when I asked for an appointment. I reported to the office manager but was appalled. I would only go for his skills. Just hold ur nose with the staff.

Dr. V is a wonderful doctor.

I have been seeing this dr and his entire group for over a year now ( not by choice, insurance limits). My first surgery was butchered thanks to him and he cost me more than he knows from a mis read MRI. My second surgery was also terrible. The entire staff/ office make it very evident they do not care about you as a patient or your everyday pain OR the reprocutions of their actions and decisions. I would never recommend dr.v , tudor or seifert. They may play nice to your face but once they get you under the knife.... they truly dont care.

I had a lot of complications after my surgery. I was discharged while hemorraging and with a fever . I had to be re-admitted to hospital within 24 hours of discharge. I returned to work after about two months of recovery and was terminated as a patient by the Dr. After a $230.00 dispute over a bill, that was paid. I was shocked, angry because I thought this Dr. Had more integrity!

Dr. Villanueva is the best neurosurgeon in the area! He took excellent care of me and my husband. He performed complicated neurosurgery on both of us with excellent results. I was anxious about complications, but he reassured me he knew what he was doing. His office staff, physicians assistant, and NP are so patient and skilled. His practice was a lifesaver for both of us!
