Dr. Wayne R Waterman, DO

I had an appointment with Dr Waterman today, and my experience was great. The office personnel were very friendly and professional. Dr Waterman was very attentive and listened to my concerns, and he explained everything to me so I could understand what was going on in my spine. He was a straight shooter, which I appreciated . Very professional and knowledgeable, I would highly recommend him, whenever the need arises.

Dr. Waterman has a great bedside manner, and is very pleasant. Very professional, he makes you feel completely comfortable with the upcoming procedure. Attentive to every question, he patiently answered them all, taking all the time needed, and I didn't feel rushed at all. Good experience, in so much as carpal tunnel surgery can be!

I was referred to Dr. Waterman for my S1-L5 herniated disk. They made me get a new lumbar MRI, a Upper back MRI and a second. EMT. I never heard back from his office so I called them. I was informed by the receptionist answering the phone I wasn't qualified and never heard why or any thing else. I went to another Surgeon who reviewed all my test and within two weeks I was in surgery. He found herniated disk at S1-L5 which was worse than the MRI showed. It has been 4 weeks and my pain level has gone from 8-10 to 2-3 and everyday my right side is getting better. Not happy with his office procedures.

Spent 15 minutes with me with unrecognizable photo copies of my MRIs. Put me through a year of unnecessary treatments including 4 rounds of spinal injections that the pain medical group called 'unusual cruelty', and for him - a few other choice words. Said, 'you work for yourself right' in a manner that maybe I couldn't pay for my insurance. Answer, 'no, I work for a bank'. His answer, 'put her on the cancel list'. Second consult with a real neurosurgeon, immediately recognized the need for an immediate spinal back fusion. Post surgery, they deemed that I shouldn't have even been able to walk for the past year. But I did. You and the whole EMMC community should be ashamed of yourself.
