Dr. Wayne Oliver Wells, MD

Dr. Wells is by far the best doctor I have ever had.. He is thorough and has a wonderful bedside manner. We moved and I was very upset when I had to find a new doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The staff doesn't know how to code for medical procedures. I owe money for blood work on my first visit because they didn't code it right. Then they call cleaning your ear surgery and now that's more money. Stay away from that office if you want to save money.

Starting seeing Dr. Wells about 5 years ago. He was an excellent doctor and I received excellent care. Until the practice was moved into the same building as a walk-in clinic. The new building is run-down looking and the additional staff are unfriendly. He also started relying heavily on a nurse practitioner to treat patients. I didn't see the doctor for the last 2 years I visited his practice. The NP is rude and condescending, does not listen to patient concerns, and misdiagnoses patients. She diagnosed two warts on my fingers as dry skin (my new doctor knew they were warts rights away). They are also horrible about scheduling emergency appointments. Because of my husband's schedule, most weeks I would not know which day I could make an appointment until the Thursday before. I would call and they would never have appointments when I could visit but they had no problem refusing my prescription refills until I had an appointment. You will easily wait over an hour to see anyone. They are… also only opened Monday through Thursday and only until 3.

Dr. Wells is the best. He and his staff are efficient, knowledgable, timely (whether it be quick or if you need a little extra), compassionate, and a joy to be around. We have been seeing Dr. Wells for 3 years for our family of 6 (with 2 having multiple disabilities). I have 0 complaints, but I could go on and on about the quality of this office. I trust Dr. Wells completely with the care of my family.

Every office visit the wait is over 2hrs to see the Dr. He doesn't take health complaints seriously acts like symptoms are all in your head and doesn't even want to run bloodwork to determine if there is an underlying medical issue, even when there are multiple symptoms pointing to medical issue. Thinks family history of female problems like tumors and bc are no big deal and even is sarcastic about it, like its funny. I have changed Dr.s and would not take my dog to this Dr. let alone reffer a human to him! His staff is very nice though.
