Dr. Wayne Robert Young, MD

Dr. Young is VERY experienced. He was able to save my twin girls when they were given less than 24 hours to live. I trust him 100% and will recommend him to everybody.

We absolutely love Dr Young! He did an amazing job delivering my babies. I’m not understanding why there are negative comments on here. I’ve been seeing dr young for many years, along with all 4 of my sisters and friends. He’s absolutely amazing. I would recommend him.

He genuinely cares about his patients and making sure your baby is safe and healthy.

He was a total pill pusher always trying to prescribe me things I never asked for and sent me and my newborn home addicted to ambien. When I tried to discuss a vbac with my next baby against his recommendations he rudely walked out of the exam room literally leaving me with my pants down and his nurse came in perplexed asking if the exam was over. My vac went great by the way and it was drug free.

Give the guy a break! Of course he isn't going to rearrange travel plans to deliver your baby! We love Dr. Young. He delivered all four of our kids. The first one he was the assisting surgeon on my emergency c-section. I was introduced to him in the c-section room and never went back to my other doctor. I had some pretty major issues with some of my pregnancies and he would always give me several options on how to deal with those things. It seemed like he was constantly learning different techniques from different conferences or medical journals and making those options available to me. I absolutely love him. We have moved away but I frequently joke that if we ever had a surprise number 5, we would move back so he could be my doctor. I recognize that his personality isn't for everyone but it certainly was the right fit for my husband and I. I can't say enough good things.

Dr young delivered my first baby. I should have realized when he was disrespectful and derogatory towards me when I brought up my desire for a birth plan, or asked questions about my body and pregnancy. The actual birth was a night mare. I was induced, and had all of the text book negative effects. I went 10 hours with no pain relief, then got the episiotomy and had the textbook negative effects. He refuses to come to talk to me leaving me with nurses who meant well but had no authority to do anything to help me. When he did drop in, he told me each time I should just get a c section, when I asked if there was a medical reason he responded that he could hand me a baby in 5 minutes. He did not hide his annoyance when I refused. I had to push for 5 hours, and the nurses couldn't hide how crazy they thought it was that I was pushing when my body and the baby weren't ready yet. He gave me an episiotomy with no warning, let alone asking me first. As he sewed me up he was discussing his golf… plans with a nurse in the room. I didn't realize what a negative experience I had until my second baby. I would never recommend him, especially to women who hope to have a vaginal delivery.

Dr Young delivered my son who was a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean). We were very impressed and think he is an amazing doctor. He will give you plenty of time to ask any questions you have and is very thorough. If you don't want a long wait (just ask the front desk) then you might want a different doctor. But if you don't mind (they'll even allow you to check in and then leave the office if its a long wait - you need to check in in person for HIPA law reasons) But he is very good at what he does and my labor went very well and he knew just how to handle everything. I trust him completely, which I value very much in my doctor!
