Dr. Webster Montano Edpao

I saw Dr. Edpao today seeking treatment for severe menstrual pain. This was my first time assigned to this Dr. by Kaiser, though I have been treated for this condition for 20+ years by various providers. After waiting 45 mins, he entered and instead of asking me to describe my concerns, he recited what he said he read on my chart. Except he had many details incorrect. After implying I should try a different birth control, he offered me an NSAID. he was not interested in my history or experience and immediately refused to prescribe the narcotic that other Drs have prescribed in the past. I pointed out to him that he hadn't even asked me to describe my pain or rate it on a scale of 1-10, as is standard procedure. Instead, he immediately wrote me off as a drug-seeking addict, rather than showing genuine interest in learning about and treating my symptoms. I asked him if was concerned about drug abuse. He told me I'd have to see a different doctor if I wanted stronger pain medicine and… dismissed me.
