Dr. Wei Guo, MD

Both my husband and I have seen Dr. Guo for illness and found his manner to be polite and straight to the point. His office is calming and his office hours are accommodating for working patients.

Like his bedside manner

The wait was normal. Shorter wait than I'm used to. Dr. Wei Guo and his staff explained everything on what to expect before and after surgery. My insurance will cover 80% of the procedure so I can't complain about that.

This was the worst experience Ive ever had at a doctors office. Not only did he not listen to what I had to say he told me there was nothing that could be done for what I was experienceing which I know for a fact was incorrect because I had been treated previously for it. Instead he wanted to order MORE unneccessary blood work which would just result in me having to make another appt. The blood work he wanted to have done should have been done in the 1st order of blood tests since that was what my chief complaint was for coming to see him in the 1st place. Instead when I go for my follow up visit to get the results of my blood tests he tells me he didnt order that test previously! Completely ridiculous!! He is so money hungry I'm surprised he didn't just snatch my purse! He was so uninterested in actually helping me that I literally wanted to cry from frustration. I wasted my initial free insurance appt and more money during the follow up. I would hate for anyone else to do the same!… Please pay attention to reviews and choose your doctor wisely!

Terrible experience . Dr. Refused to see us because he didn't understand our insurance which pays 100%, he wanted cash up front. We declined and asked for all the personal paperwork we filled out back. When the nurse was giving is all the paperwork back the Dr. Stormed out of his office and ripped the paperwork out of my mothers hand. When my father said "this is stupid" and grabbed it back the Dr. Started screaming for 911. We think the office was running a scam and was going to charge us cash, then Bill the insurance company. We alerted Oschner Hospital patient advocacy and our insurance company so they could be charged with fraud if they try to bill.
