Dr. Weldon Raymond Johnson, DO

Dr. Johnson was the best doctor I had had for several years. Unfortunately he retired the end of 2020.

I've never had a doctor like Dr Johnson he sent me to get test and then he called me personally a few hours later to explain the results and ask me questions. I appreciated that so much because I've never had that before from a doctor. It's usually the assistant that I'm dealing with. He's a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Johnson gives healthcare the way you long for it. Refreshing, it is a true pleasure to go into his office. From staff to the doctor, himself, you leave with the feeling of having been properly attended to.

Dr. Johnson is wonderful, he is kind and caring and does actually give very good diagnoses and has very good bedside manner. However, this Rating does not ask about the staff that work in his office. The Front Desk Staff are TERRIBLE with courtesy and kindness. The staff are rude and inconsiderate. They are not prompt to get paperwork completed in a timely manner and come up with excuses when patients call in to inquire. The nurses are also not a very good example of how Dr Johnson should run his practice. Dr. Johnson has worked very hard for nearly 3 decades to establish this practice, but his staff do not seem to appreciate this and make it very easy to turn away from such a kind, warm, knowledgeable health care practitioner. My one plea to Dr. Johnson is that he finds the quality staff that his hard work deserves.

Provides all lab work via a portal, doesn't follow up, discuss findings or advise you need to be prescribed meds.

My children and I have been patients for 20 years. My parents also started going to him 5 years ago. Honestly since his wife joined his staff customer service and caring have been on a downhill slide. It is back to back people now and the churn rate does not allow for any time with the doctor or PA. Then a year ago my parents were told to find another doctor, Medicare related I beleve, but they were told a fabricated story. I love you Doc but won't be back. After a year of Carenow (where they caught something you missed for years) I am looking for a new doctor.

Very good Dr. I've had stomach issues for years that no other dr has been able (or willing) to explore & he nailed it right on the head. I feel so much better its unbelievable. My kids love him too. We've been patients for about 2 years now. The wait upfront is sometimes long but now that he has a full-time PA the wait has improved a lot!

Not horrible but certainly sub-par for a practicing physician. Couldn't get my prescriptions refilled in time. Don't expect to spend much quality time with the doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for 2 years and I am currently looking elsewhere for another physician. Just not up to my standards whatsoever.
