Dr. Wells Stewart, MD

Dr. Stewart is good at explaining the causes and effects of eye issues and is very thorough when checking my eyes.

Dr. Stewart has many years of experience that puts me at ease. He's always willing to listen to my concerns.

During his examinations Dr. Stewart is totally concentrating on what he is seeing, comparing that to the previous exams and checking various eye tests that have been given. He also makes very complete notes. When he has completed his examination, he then is prepared to discuss all of your and his concerns. Dr. Stewart operated on my eye. He thoroughly explains any problems and suggests solutions. I trust him.

Extremely poor bedside manner. I went to him after being referred by ER doctor for corneal abrasion. I wanted to ask a question after he examined me and he literally held his hand up in front of my face to block me from speaking. He may be a wonderful doctor, but he needs to learn a different way to communicate. How RUDE! Would not go back or take my family there. Staff was very nice and helpful, but his demeanor stinks. I understand that he may be focusing on getting information, but placing his hand in my face is unacceptable.
