I have been seeing Dr. Wende Kozlow since 2017 and find her diagnosis of my condition and annual check to ensure that it hasn’t worsened most helpful. My thyroid has a very special watchful eye. Thank you, Dr. Kozlow

Dr. Kozlow takes the time to understand my issues and does not rush me out like some other doctors. It is truly appreciated.

Dr. Kozlow makes a concerted effort to understand the needs of her patients and takes the time to help them gain control of their diabetes. highly recommend.

Has no soul. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. A disappointment to the medical field. Find another job. You must be one unhappy person.

Thousands of thyroid patients still feel awful even when their thyroid numbers have been brought within normal range, and though there is information out there, this doctor is not someone who cares or is capable of looking into why. Because she's apparently ignorant of the complexities at play, she blames the patient, insinuates it's all in their head, and dismisses them from care. The experience was dehumanizing, and the gaslighting was unacceptable. You can say you have nothing to offer a paitent while still treating them with human dignity. I saw Dr. Kozlow once, in a room where magazines and office supplies were being stored on the examination bed, and she told me she wouldn't treat me and couldn't do anything for me. Because I have more than one doctor helping to treat more than one autoimmune disease, she said she "didn't want to get involved in that." I should have paid attention to the other reviews, but my doctor referred me to her, because he feels my symptoms are… endocrine-related (and he has demonstrated better knowledge of endocrine issues than she did, as she dismissed classic Hashimoto's symptoms as being unrelated). Too bad she didn't read the medical records my doctors sent her (beyond a blood test) and instead made up her mind about me before knowing anything. She did not try to problem solve or even gather pieces of the puzzle: she did not ask me thorough questions or allow me to tell her about all my symptoms or history. From the beginning, she acted almost...suspicious, asking me why I was there and what I wanted from her. Her approach confused me, but I told her that I still had Hashimoto's/hypothyroid symptoms even though I was on replacement hormones and that my goal was to improve enough that I could work and do more than a couple activities per day. She legitimately told me to get a job so I had purpose and I'd feel better. Absolutely dissmissive. That's like telling a wheelchair-bound individual who asks for help recovering enough to be able to run again, "get out and run and you'll feel better." It sends the message that your suffering and the loss of life you've experienced isn't real and that you somehow WANT to be suffering. Because she apparently didn't know what to do, she deflected responsibility onto me. She recommended a psychiatrist, insinuating that documented medical issues are in my head. She also told me that my meds are probably causing my symptoms, without any basis for her assumption. So is it in my head or are my meds causing real symptoms? It can't be both. She would not listen to the fact that I had the symptoms for years before doctors prescribed meds/supplements TO TREAT THE SYMPTOMS. To be honest, I didn't really argue with most of what she said, because I was so shocked my mind went blank. I'll seek a specialist who is abreast of current thyroid information and who knows enough to deal with complex cases beyond throwing hormones at patients until their levels are within normal range, regardless of symptoms. As the thyroid affects just about every system of the body, and the biochemical complexities of thyroid dysfunction throughout the body are numerous and still being studied, a good endocrinologist will recognize this and be able to provide medical support beyond reading only thyroid levels and prescribing replacement hormones.

Can't say I wasn't warned by my physician about her demeanor. I was advised that Dr Kozlow is detached and does not even try to make a connection. The office location was convenient and I figured I wouldn't spend much time with this specialist anyway. The quality of "care" is very low. I finally switched to another endocrinologist. Bottom line: you have better choices. Do not waste your time and risk your health by going to her; she simply reads what's on the computer and puts no personal attention with the patient.

You may as well be sitting in front of a computer. Cold, no connection to the patient.

Saw her and she was excellent in every way. Gave me an early appointment since she saw from my doctor's report up north that I should be seen asap. Got me to a surgeon and had my thyroid removed. Staff sent me a sympathy card, and I don't know how they knew, after my husband passed. Great practice.

This so called doctor also dropped me as a patient (I had already dropped her) after I complained that she went on vacation and left no medications or instructions for after my surgery for thyroid cancer. After having an allergic reaction to the coating on the generic synthroid, she actually told my husband that I should go speak to a therapist as I must be depressed. He told her I was losing feeling on my left side and couldn't stand..She said women get like that sometimes. Seriously? I wouldn't send anyone to her and quite frankly can't believe she's still able to practice. She's rude and almost landed me in the ER!

She actually called me at home to inform me she was dropping me as a patient. I was working 50 hours per week so my schedule was difficult for scheduling an appointment. Her staff was rude and told her I was "abuseing the system" trying to schedule near the end of the day. Really? Dr. Koslow called me and was cold, demeaning, rude and said that "she worked too". Well, maybe she is in the wrong field. I have never been treated like this in my life from a doctor. Shame on you Dr. Koslow!
