Dr. Wendelyn Bosch, MD

I am writing this not only as a patient, but also as someone who worked in scientific research, and also as the wife of a doctor. I have never written a medical review before but perhaps this will help somebody else. This provider was significantly late for our appointment, did not review my prior labs or test results, interrupted me when I tried to answer her questions, had me repeat family repeat medical history I had already submitted, and spoke in an aggressive and condescending tone. She announced her diagnosis almost immediately and without explanation. She also spoke at length about tetanus shots (?) which had nothing to do with my condition. It was so bizarre and rushed I honestly thought it was some kind of mistake. This was my first and only experience with a serious illness (antibiotic resistant infection of an organ), and I had been excited about the appointment. I quickly realized this provider was not interested in the appointment, owing either to ignorance or arrogance.… My local physician had a similar experience with them when she reached out a few months later. Fortunately, we found another ID doctor who read my labs, studied my cultures, reviewed all my other test results / scans, and eventually cured my condition with long term antibiotics.
