Dr. Wendolyn D Ingram, DO

This doctor did not do what she said she was going to do in regards to my medical care.

The office personnel is not very cooperative and billing is wrong, along with no answer when you call thier office and leaving messages is all you can do. They make a habit of screening their calls and you can't just talk with the doctor because she relays messages to you. You get no personal contact with her until you make an appointment and pay. She will refer you to specialist everytime which cost you more money. One plus, she is very nice when you see her but she only gives you a little time with her and that's it.

When I first started going to Dr. Ingram I liked her a lot but since they moved over to the new building, I've gotten nothing but poor service. I can never get anyone on the phone and when I leave a message, they never call me back. I've been trying to get a referral because of a bone spur and it's taken 2 months, with little response from their office. I've had to actually go and sit in the office in person just to get someone to talk to me. I find out now, Dr. Ingram is "leaving to pursue other employment opportunities." Just as well!

Dr. Ingram was a great choice of family practitioner for me and my daughter. I was already a patient of Dr. Ingram's and my daughter was still under the care of another doctor (her pediatrician of 9 years). When the H1N1/flu epidemic broke out and people were dying from it, my 12 year daughter became ill and had been running a fever/temperature of 100+ and on the third day her temperature had risen to almost 103. She also has asthma, which almost always complicates any cold/upper respiratory problem. As you can tell, by my waiting, I am not one of those parents who frequent the doctors office with every itty bitty concern. Well, of course, as this point I knew I had to take her to the doctor since none of the over the counter medications seemed to be working on her cold/flu like symptoms nor the fever. Her symptoms seemed to be worsening rapidly in severity. I phoned her doctors office at opening on Monday, under the assumption that this would definitely be a priority, because of the… epidemic and her consistently high temp. Now of course I understood that my daughter was not the only one sick and in need of care, so I expected a later appt that day and definitely no later than the next morning or sometime the next day. After giving them her symptoms and reemphasizing them, I was told that they could not see her until Wednesday almost at the close of business. Needless to say,I was irate and appalled and about to take her to the emergency room, as any parent would do under the circumstances, when I decided to call Dr. Ingram's office to make an appt there for my daughter. I was amazed and relieved that although she would be a first time patient, I was told that they would definitely work her into their schedule, because of her symptoms (if I could have her there by 2pm). Best choice I ever made! Dr. Ingram is not only proficient at her job, but she truly cares for her patients.
