Dr. Wendy Scarborough Bowman, MD

I have some trauma from my experience with Dr. Wendy Bowman during a C-section in which she tore my bladder. I ended up being discharged with a catheter for a month. I needed iron infusions before birth due to low levels. With knowing this, after my delivery she advised me not to get a blood transfusion despite my iron levels dropping and being diagnosed with orthostatic hypotension and POTS due to the blood loss. I have many regrets regarding not speak up against her at that time.

Dr. Bowman was my GYN Dr. for 3 years. One day i called the phone to scheduled an annual exam and the phone was disconnected. Its like she vanished. No one does know why the practiced closed or where Dr. Bowman and the records are! This is unacceptable and unprofessional. Patients should at least get a call stating a practice is closing.

While Dr. Bowman and the nursing staff are courteous and knowledgeable, I keep walking away with a negative impression from the receptionist, Charlott ...

I'm thankful to find a doctor who listens, and responds to your needs and explains medical terms in simplicitiy and for direct understanding. My encounters with this doctor has made me decide to refer her and see her myself regularly. Dr. Wendy Bowman Rocks!
