My daughter WAS a patient of Dr Brickman's for a couple of years. I decided to switch to a different endocrinologist due to lack of communication & concern from her staff. They would NEVER call me with my daughter's lab results. It would take 2-3 weeks to get her results back AFTER the results were available. I would have to call the office at least 2 times, usually 3 and leave a message. It would take a couple of days for my call to be returned. NOT acceptable! After patiently waiting a week waiting for her thyroid medication to be refilled, I had to call them to inquire why it hasn't been refilled. I was THEN informed that they refused to refill it because she hasn't seen the doctor in 6 months-even though her labs were done 5 weeks prior; and I was infrormed at that time for her to CONTINUE her medication. I was not informed that another appointment was required, and they would not see her for another 4 weeks! My daughter went days without her medication due to their lack of… communication!
