Dr. Gottlieb is one of the best doctors I have ever had, and I have had quite a few in my years. At my first consultation for breast reduction, she was extremely thorough examining me as well as explaining the process and some things that can or will happen after the procedure. She doesn't sugarcoat it and even says that some people will not have it done due to some of the reasons she provided. I feel doing it that way makes me really listen because she is emphasizing everything and she wants to make sure you understand everything. She is extremely smart with an unbelievable education and seems to me that she really loves her job, especially breast reductions! When you decide to do it and your insurance is approved, the staff sets the surgery date. I only had to wait 2 weeks and had many choices as they told me that even if it wasn't her day to go into the hospital for surgeries, and if that she wasn't fully booked for appointments, she would try to make an accommodation for you.… Before the surgery, you come in for an 1 1/2 or 2 hrs to go over the pre-op, op, and post-op procedures and expectations with both her and one of the staff. She also reviews with you what YOU want done. Some surgeons only do what they want to do and really don't listen. Not her!! My husband came with me to that and learned a lot and they all took the time to explain it thoroughly and answered all of our questions patiently! I feel that she doesn't rush the appointment and is extremely nice! Also, even though she spends quality time with her patients, it seems that you don't wait very long at all either in the waiting room or the examining room. I really hate when you are put in the examining room only to sit 20 mins or so without knowing when the "doctor will be in shortly...." per the nurse at other doctors' offices. Maybe they don't schedule too many people to allow her the time? I just know it works as I have been there 4 times for this process so far with very little waiting. The surgery has been a complete success!!!!! I am only 2 weeks post-op and my stitched areas are all healed. She even said I could go into the water now which was extremely surprising as I am supposed to go to Cancun 6 weeks post-op and was concerned I would heal in time for that. I have reviewed forums on breast reductions and the horror stories and pictures are opposite of what I have had so far. My scars look like some of the people after several months since their procedure. Oh, did I forget to mention my breasts look awesome? I am 50 years old and they are not only smaller, but way perkier, like I was in my 20s again. She is conscience to not only listening to what your goals are, but also stresses that she will also try to make it proportionate to your body. I highly recommend Dr. Gottlieb for any plastic surgery needs based on my experience, as well as other reviews I have seen. It is so gratifying to have such a caring, well-educated and highly skilled doctor! Very rare, indeed.

I had surgery over 3 years ago and still loving it. I barely have a scar now and I feel so much better about myself. I had the surgery for appearance and for continuing stomach problems. I no longer have any stomach issues after she fixed the stomach muscles.
