Dr. Wendy Huang, MD

After thousands of dollars spent between her expensive fee and useless supplements, she prescribed Cortif which is a steroid that lowered my immune system, over-treated my Thyroid so my numbers were triple what they should’ve been and caused my liver enzymes to be more than double because of all the unnecessary supplements she had me buying. She can be rude, and was rarely prepared for our visits. I had to remind her of my treatment plan each time I went to her office. Don’t waste your time or money.

Dr Wendy makes it very clear that your appointments are strictly 25 min. She makes minimal eye contact unless you are a clock. I have spent thousands and literally feel worse w each passing week. She refuses to address other issues until my thyroid issue is resolved which is not at all a holistic approach. If she was a holistic practitioner she would look at the entire body rather than one part. She is very rude as she constantly tells me to “write it down since you don’t understand what I tell you” but the issue is she will tell me to take a specific dose of my medication and literally within the same sentence change that dose two more times, forgetting what she just said. When I told her I’m feeling worse, she scrambled through her notes and exclaimed “well I gave you a liver detox”... never did. She did the same w her GI supplement. All she cared about is the money... she wants to see so many patients but can’t keep us straight. Running to a different practice after giving her $200… (for a 25 minute visit) every 3 weeks just for a thyroid medication script!! Horrible.

I have been going to Dr. Huang since Jan 2019. It took a year of visits and supplements to get me to a healthy place. Sometimes it takes us years to get unwell and that long to get better. I stuck with it. She treats me for Thyroid, Adrenal Fatigue, and others. Yes she is expensive so if you don't have the money it can be very hard to stay. But I wanted to get well so I continued and she delivered. I wish I had followed to a tee in the beginning but the dance of supplements took a while to get used to. I love this woman and she does really care about my health. She also knows me very well and sometimes it takes a while to get through to me. But she's patient and kind and I am happy to have found her. Any failures are our own, if you don't follow the individual program she will put together for you.......YOU LOSE. I say try her. If you want to get better holistically then try her. She worth the money

Have been seeing Dr. Huang for 8 months for my thyroid issues. At first felt great after taking 12 supplements she sells in her office. After many months and over 3500 paid to her I went to my regular doctor who informed me Dr. Huang is a PEDIATRICIAN and not licensed to work with adults. ALSO, my doctor ran several blood tests which showed I had TOXIC levels of iodine, cortisone and T3 as a result of the supplements. This woman is a scam. My doctor said I am not the first patient she has seen who was in distress as a result of Dr. Huangs "treatments" Wish I could get my thousands of dollars back.

Was excited to meet this MD but not impressed with my experience. First, not sweet or fussy, very occupied with appointment time and not a minute more . Very, very , expensive n wraps you into busying expensive vitamins that she get a cut from. Paid lots of $ for labs she ordered and my insurance didn't cover. I Saw her, couldn't afford her over the top treatment n got no results. Unless you have lots of money, i don't recommend her.

I brought my children to Dr. Huang for various problems. Her eye contact was mainly with the clock in her office. I can see if we were there for a while; however, from the time we arrived until our 50 minutes was up she was preoccupied with the other patient who was in her acupuncture room. Then, she loaded us up with hundreds of dollars of vitamins and sent us on our way. Neither one of my children benefited. *She does run thorough blood tests.

My sister has been seeing Dr. Huang for about 13 years for Women's Holistic Health and the Wiley Protocol of all natural, organic hormone replacement, anti-aging therapy, which are topical creams for Estrogen, Testosterone and Progesterone, which the body stops producing when a women's cycles cease. I have been seeing Dr. Huang for almost 10 years. She knows every element of health conditions. I started this program during peri-menopause it pulled me back to normal moods, skin elasticity, eliminated hot flashes and night sweats. These bio-identical hormones restore you to optimum hormone levels, which is at peak at age 25. She never stops studying all areas of health, and is extremely knowledgeable. She also see's male patients for hormone imbalances. Prior to seeing me as a patient she mandated I read the book Sex, Lies and Menopause, written by Dr. Wiley, who is still a practicing physician and developed these topical hormone creams, called The Wiley Protocol.

Dr. Huang was recommended to me by a friend with health issues similar to mine (Hashimoto's thyroiditis (autoimmune disease that is the #1 cause of hypothyroidism), subclinical hypothroidism, and adrenal fatigue to name a few). I have been going to Dr. Huang for about 4 months now and overall am very pleased with her. She is willing to do pretty much any blood work she feels you need PLUS any blood work you request (provided she thinks it makes sense /fits with your symptoms). She is also willing to treat you based your symptoms /how you feel and not just your lab results. Will she does push the supplements she carries in her office, those supplements are top quality and it is convenient to purchase from her should you choose to - though once you are on your established regimen, you can likely find similar products on amazon.com for a little less money. She will not process insurance, but she will provide you with the necessary paperwork and receipts each visit to submit to your… provider. Sometimes the appointments seem rushed, but that is usually due to ME talking too much. :) Dr. Huang knows what she's doing, for sure - and she does also take a couple of visits to warm up to; but in order to be successful, you need to make sure you keep track of your symptoms very closely and provide her with accurate info; so she can help you get better. With all of my health problems, she has definitely helped me the most over the past few years. If you have endocrine /hormonal issues, I would definitely recommend Dr. Huang. One word of warning: Dr. Huang has no support staff and making appointments is all done online and rarely there can be glitches with the system - but overall, it is easy to schedule or reschedule if needed. And sometimes, it is a little difficult to get in touch with her - so you need to make sure you have enough supplements /medication refills (she can & does prescribe meds,if needed) before you leave your appt.
