Dr. Wendy Huang

Wendy Huang, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of California Berkeley in 2004 and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Washington. After receiving her Doctor of Optometry, she returned to her home state of Washington and founded Vision Plus Bellevue in 2014. Dr. Huang became interested in optometry while in college, where she had the opportunity to shadow a provider within the community. His love of his job was very apparent, and it sparked an interest in her to learn more about optometry. With a friendly and relaxed approach, Dr. Huang enjoys learning more about her patients and their specific visual and ocular health needs. In addition, she believes in the importance of patient-centered and collaborative care. Dr. Huang especially enjoys getting to know and working closely with her patients and establishing a long-term professional relationship with them. She finds it very rewarding to work together – patients, providers, and the …entire office team – to strive to improve patients’ vision, comfort, and functionality. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Huang enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She also finds time to go outdoors to enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
