Dr. Wendy Ellen Livingston, MD

Was given her name as a recommendation from another physician. My husband went in as a new patient for a full body check(mom has had melanoma). No exam performed. Treated one area on his scalp for possible squamous cell and no return encouraged. My husband felt like she couldn't get out of the room fast enough. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but will not be returning

I have only seen her once. She told me that I might have Basal Cell Cancer, and took a biopsy. She did not talk that much to me in person. When she called to tell me that I DO have this cancer, she spoke very nicely, and will be telling the specialist to remove this, nurse to call me tomorrow and make me appointments. She was very nice about this.

If you want a partner in your health - find another doctor. This doctor and staff are all out for themselves. The patient is an afterthought.

Great dermatologist. Have been patient at this practice for decades. My children are also patients of hers. Listens. Offers multiple solutions if possible. Found an easy, painless solution to a skin situation I had for years - without surgery. Returns calls promptly. Can't say enough good things.

Very reassuring and informative

I visited here just a couple of hours ago due to my chronic skin infection. I'v e been dealing with a lot of skin issues these past few months and decided to come here because it was easy to book an appointment.. and now I know why. I waited here for more than 50 minutes. My appointment was at 10:30am and was brought in about 11:20am.. I had to keep going up to the counter to make sure that I wasn't forgotten. Then after finally walking in, I met Dr. Livingston who is probably the worst doctor I've encountered. She asked me why reasons why I visited and I told her everything what I was going through. She did not sympathetic or concerned. The first thing she goes is "There is no treatment for what you have and I'm not sure this is going to be cured right away..." So she gave me an option of doing light therapy which is the last thing I wanted to do. Then she proceeds to say "well.. I can give you a recommendation to another doctor in the city". It seemed like she did not care about my… health or concerns at all.. and just wanted to brush me away. I will not be coming here again. Also, your receptionists are very unprofessional just like you.

Dr. Livingston can be unsettling at first because she does not exude the superiority/confidence of most doctors. This comes mostly with her lack of eye contact and "uhs" sprinkled throughout her sentences. I noticed that, once she started the minor operation on my face, she started conversing with me and being the doctor that every patient hopes to find. She simply takes a little time to warm up it seems. She is a good doctor who knows her field and cares about her patients.

I've been a patient of Dr. Livingston's for a number of years. I've always found her to be pleasant, knowledgable and concerned. Working for a large practice can't be easy, but I've never felt rushed. I would recommend her to a friend.

It's amazing how one can't get even a satisfactory experience across a large practice like this. I've seen a number of doctors in this one, usually because the Dr. I saw before isn't available (even for follow-up). Expect to wait no less than an hour - not kidding! And once you're put in a room, expect to wait another half hour. Then, when you finally see a doctor, don't expect more than 10 minutes of their time at most. I'm in my 50's and have cystic, scarring acne. I can have lumps as large as a quarter, and I've been told "it's not really that bad," you can wear scarves to cover the breakouts on your neck," and even "at least you'll grow out of it!" Seriously? I'm over 50! Reception is rude, you have to wait at least 24 hours to get a refill prescription, and half the time, they simply forget to call it in. Then if called to remind them, on more than one occasion I'm told I have to make an appointment because it's been too long since my last. I'm trying to find… another doctor, but we all know the limits our policies put on us.

I went to see Dr. Livingston and it was a waste of my time. She was not helpful and just gave me an article to read. She spent no more than 2 or 3 minutes with me then rushed out.
