Dr. Wendy Tipton Oberdick, MD

'Worst Doctor I have ever met. I was supposed to have a meet and greet first visit but had a physical problem shortly before the visit. I guess this irritated her because I have never had a Dr talk to me the way she did. She told me I had COPD (which I don't have confirmed by real Dr's). I have had asthma since birth and tried to explain but she argued with me (?). I told her about a pain I had and she told me that she didn't want to hear it, she was the Dr and would do her on evaluation. Later, talking about the pain she asked me what I wanted to do about it, MRI, CAT Scan, what? I cant believe people let her talk to them like this. Thank God I went to another Dr and she found a potential serious problem. The saddest part is her office staff was great. I truly hope they find a better job. Find a Dr that cares, not a quack that wont listen and then ask you how you want to treat the problem. Worst Dr in a lifetime. '

I just had my first appointment with Dr. O and she was absolutely amazing. She took time to talk to me and explain everything. She made me feel very comfortable.

She told my mother last visit a medication she takes could cause her to seize or possibly die if she were to quit cold turkey. Today my mother is out and said she’s not refilling it and when we asked why she said just not refilling it. So if we end up in the ER or worse I wanna document everything. I don’t understand how a doctor can say one thing and do another. This medication she’s been on 28 years and this is her first day without. So if something happens it’s cuz of Oberdick

My wife and I are in love as patients only with Dr. Wendy O. She is super efficient and sooo nice and enjoyable, and as a Dr she is a listener and actually cares for the well being of her patients she is very personable. She actually wants to see her patients better. She is truly a GOD send to help us Baylor you truly have a gift in Dr. Wendy O

When Dr Wendy and her smile enter the room, it's easy to get the impression that you are the only patient she has that day!!! Her compassion and caring is so encouraging and she really LISTENS ! Wish there were more than 5 stars to rate her because... Wow... she is one amazing doctor!

This was my first visit with her and waited 45 minutes in lobby, finally asked reception if they had forgotten about me, was told they were very busy and due to me being on medicare there were forms that had to filled out, therefore it would be about 10 more minutes. I decided to leave and not see her, felt that due to my age that I was discriminated against. The wait would have been ok if they would have explained up front that there would be a delay due to these forms needed to be filled out, but was not given that courtesy. I had to ask not once but twice why it was taking so long. Needless to say I will not go back to her office.

I came here before going to Dr. O and found that there was one comment that she had no bedside manner?? Oh my, that is so false! She came into my room smiling and we shook hands then got to work. She was thoughtful and listened to my comments with interest and genuine caring. She explained things in a professional but with my level sentences. We now have a plan of action and I feel uplifted and encouraged. I am so grateful I didn't pay attention to one person,s comments, went ahead and scheduled an appointment with this wonderful doctor! I did ask her about the comment about bedside manner. She laughed and said she wasn't even in practice at that time. Trolling?? What a shame to say something like that about someone with such a gentle spirit and easy smile.

Worst Dr ever

My husband and I are very glad we found Dr. Oberdick. She is very knowledgeable, caring, and professional. She genuinely cares about your health and actually remembers your face unlike many other doctors. We don't want to see any other doctor but her!
