Dr. Wendy Yvonne Pitt, MD

My teenage daughter saw Dr. Pitts via telemed. Dr. Pitts was very knowledgeable and professional. She was able to prescribe medication that helped my daughter feel better. We would definitely see Dr. Pitts again.

This doctor was terrible. She was very arrogant and did not want to listen to my daughter's symptoms (she has strep throat) and refused to prescribe her antibiotics. It was very obvious to me that she knew what her responses to me would be before I had even finished my sentence. This resulted in my daughter going undiagnosed for an additional day and possibly exposing other children at school. She has now seen an additional doctor and confirmed diagnoses of strep.

I had a visit with this doctor over the internet. She was fast, nice and caring about the issue. I would recommend.

We called in complaining of swollen glands, nausea and fatigue. She heard me sniffling in the background and told me I probably had allergies because I was sniffling. We told her that I was sniffling because I was crying and she ignored it. She made her whole diagnosis on me having a runny nose. After she said I have allergies I quietly tried to tell my mother that I was only sniffling because I was crying and Dr. Pitts heard. She said "okay, I didn't ask" And proceed to ignore what I said. My mom had to speak up for me near the end of the call and tell her that no, I didn't have a runny nose because I had allergies. She finally listened after that and made a better diagnosis. She didn't apologize for being rude and ignoring us but at least she apologized for accidentally not using my pronouns. I understand if people don't get it right away, no big deal, It's new to them. TLDR: So overall she's rude, doesn't listen to her patients but after constantly correcting her she made a… proper diagnosis. Would not go to her again.

I would have left zero stars had that been an option. Never have I had a doctor that completely talked over me. Didn’t listen to me. She is a complete waste of time and joke of a doctor. Do not take your kid to her!!!!!

My son has strep throat, we went to her and she said she could not tell if he had strep throat after waiting 4 hours. She belittled us and felt like she was just rushing. We went to an urgent care facility and tested positive for strep. I will never go back to Dr. Pitt, can't believe anyone would trust their kid's health with her

I was very pleased with my experience with Dr.Pitt. The Doctor took time to make my daughter feel comfortable, she asked for the details. Gave a good explanation of the prescribed medicine and even looked for coupon for me to use.
