Dr. Wendy Ann Rissinger, MD

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr Rissinger! I travel over an hour to see her, and I would gladly continue making that drive rather than switch to a provider closer to my home. She is everything you hope for in a physician. She genuinely listens. She takes the time to understand what I am saying instead of dismissing concerns or rushing through an appointment. When I bring something to her attention, I know it will be taken seriously and thoughtfully addressed. I feel heard, respected, and cared for as a whole person... not just another appointment on the schedule. Having a doctor you can truly trust is invaluable, and that is exactly what I have found in Dr Rissinger. The level of care she provides is absolutely worth the drive, and I honestly dread the day she eventually decides to retire because I have no idea how I will ever replace her! She is an incredible asset to FPC, and I hope they realize just how fortunate they are to have her. I certainly do. I would… recommend her without hesitation!

Dr Rissinger is knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. She never rushes appointments. She engages in two way discussions and listens to your concerns whether it’s about the issue or the treatment. I appreciate her candor.

I love Dr Rissinger and the staff at the Herndon Family Practice. She listens and works hard to find solutions. She has an awesome bedside manner and has become my number 1 go to person if I’m unsure if a health issue. The staff is very welcoming and goes the extra mile to help as well. Love Dr Rissinger !!! She’s the best !
