Dr. Wendy Rosen, MD

Bipolar disorder is a difficult illness to have & as well as to treat. Dr. Rosen has been my psychiatrist for 30yr & has pulled me out of some of the most awful depressions where I didn't want to continue to live & once attempted to take my life.

Truly rarely listens or cares, nor remembers critical information about myself as a patient. Unavailable and unreliable with follow through. She’s burnt out as Psychiatrist and a clock watcher right to the second. Little eye contact or compassion.

She is very clearly far more concerned with her money than patient's well-being. Had to ask my NAME again several times during an appointment. Clearly bored, doesn't listen at all, seems to hate her job, zero warmth. Extremely rude receptionist. My experience has been that there are so few docs in this area that we get stuck with the leftovers who would not cut it and be out of a job and maybe their license too in larger cities with more and WAY better docs.

Yawns in your face, writes a script and yours on your way

Never bothered to return either of my phone calls to set up an appointment or let me know she was no accepting new patients.

A little unconventional and you can't really judge her based upon one single visit. Once I established a professional report with her, it became easier for me to understand her methodology and good intent. She may seem a little on the cool side, but she has proven to be worthy of my confidence in her over several years.

The worst physiatrist I have ever been to! She overmedicated me to the point where I was sleeping 24 hours straight. Terrible bedside manner, very cold and had a bad attitude. She seemed like she hated her job and she didn't have any empathy or compassion when seeing me. Half of the time she wouldn't even look me in the eyes when I was talking to her. One time she was going to kick me out in the middle of my appoint because I was upset about a crisis I was having in my life. She raised her voice and she opened the door and asked me to leave. I ran out of my medications and needed scripts! PLEASE don't go to her.

Horrible bedside manner. Zero empathy. Closes eyes as I was speaking, then head bobs. Bored or was falling asleep? Seems to dislike her career...

I was referred to Dr. Rosen by my LMHC. Fixed the problem great job

I have been a patient of Dr Rosen for some time now. I see her mostly for medication refills. She has changed my meds several times over the years and I think in this regard she is excellent. When I have had a problem she has made time to see me. Her therapy sessions are difficult as this is not her strong suit. I will continue to see Dr. Rosen for meds and advice about meds, but not for therapy.
