Dr. Somerset is an intelligent, well-educated, kind, caring, and thoroughly competent physician. Simply the best.

Dr. Somerset is by far the kindest, most capable, helpful and attentive psychiatrist I have ever been to. I'm so grateful that she accepted me as a new patient. Dr. Somerset listens to my concerns, works with me to find the best treatment for me according to the symptoms I find most concerning and to reduce side effect profiles that are not acceptable to me. She listens, takes more time to talk to me about my problems than most therapists I know, and is always available in the event of a crisis. I am so thankful to have her. I will never need another psychiatrist, which is a great relief, having been to others out there who treat patients like a number, and escort you to the door in 15 minutes.

I found Dr. Somerset after moving back to the Tallahassee area and am happy with her practice. Although she does not take insurance, she more than makes up for this with her relatively low fee and by her accessibility, especially by e-mail. She readily adjusts medication and is very approachable. She is not one of those psychiatrists who just wants to talk about meds, either; she wants to know what's going on in my life. I value her care.
