Dr. Wensong Li, MD

I went to see Dr. Li for a herniated disc. I actually saw P.A. Chung. Without any physical exam at all, no x-ray or MRI, she told me I had muscle spasms and told me I would need physical therapy and an injection in my back. I was never actually looked at and I was never touched. There is no way a doctor could determine what is wrong without an exam. I spoke to another doctor at the hospital for special surgery and told him what was done. I was told that that was an improper procedure for them to follow. Needless to say I canceled all further appointments at this office. To be clear this was the office on 60th Street in Brooklyn. There were obviously just out for the money from physical therapy and an injection without having any idea of what was wrong with me.

Knows what he is doing.

stay away from this doctor. He is not ethical.

I dont' know how and where he received his licenses to practice medicine in the US. He does not want to listen to what you have to say and prescribes his own treatment plan based on what HE believes your conditions are. He does NOT understand the first rule of treatment: EVERY individual is different and reacts differently to medication. He destroyed both of my knees. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!!!

He is all about drugs. I understand that as a pain doctor, one of the utilities are medication but he is too pill happy. As soon as I cam in the office, he starts prescribing away without even listening to my problems. And when you try to tell him what is wrong with you. He yells at you for telling him how YOU feel because you're not the doctor. So what he expects is go in to his office, sit in his chair and take your drug script and leave. All without saying 2 words.

if there was an award for the most arrogant, yet least knowledgeable doctor, Dr. Wensong Li should be awarded the prize. Dr. Li from the moment you 1st meet him to the moment you run out his door, believes he is the most knowledgeable doctor the world has produced,except for the fact that as a pain medicine Dr. he can't spell morphine. If you want a pain management Dr. who under-medicates, completely botches nerve blocks and does it all with a frown (his assistant says he has never seen him smile in the years he has worked for him) this is the doctor for you.
