Very rude front staff & Poor dental work .

I have been seeing Dr. Cowan since I was a teenager and trust him completely. He and his team always make you feel comfortable and welcome & make sure you understand all options and costs. Dr. Cowan & his hygienists all have a gentle touch. Debbie is amazing and even held my hand through a procedure when I was very nervous. What more can you ask?

Dr Coward is Dr Jekyll Mr Hyde! I did my research and read positive reviews before deciding to go with this office. 1st visit he was extremely polite as he criticized Dr Williams implant that he had to fix. I had a new flipper made it was perfect and purchased a teeth whitening system in preparation for my permanent crown. He won me over with his consultation. I returned for both me and my son cleanings. Fast forward..I returned to have a flipper replaced being I am unable to have the $3000 work completed for my crown. The hygienist making the new flipper seemed like a student and I knew we would have problems but I allowed her to do her job..I return and as I expect the work was amateur. The tooth was wide amd not the size of my original tooth. Let me add this is my FRONT tooth so extremely noticeable! She made it over and I return today. It looked nice and they fixed the wide uneven tooth but it was uncomfortable. I provided feedback which was my bottom tooth was hitting the back of… the flipper..she defended and gave every reason why? The 1st flipper made fit perfect why was this any different..Only difference was the person making it..Dr Coward came and evaluated the flipper and too was defensive. He told me they had spent too much time and repeated many times it would not be perfect and he could give me my money back and I could leave!!! He repeated I can give you your money back rudely! He clearly had no interest in customer satisfaction. I responded I didnt want a refund I needed the flipper. He was very clear he had no intentions of fixing the mistakes. Stay clear if you want what you pay for done right bc this Dr is satisfied with giving sub par work...1st sign he was Dr Jekyll Mr Hyde was my last cleaning.. I truly thought It was a dentist filling in. He was not the friendly Dr he protrayed. I honestly thought this isnt the same guy..his entire mood and demeanor was dark... between seeing patience he sits in his office in the dark...weido! If you want comfort and quality and not just appearance DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE! He actually had the nerve when he finally stopped arguing and file the tooth down to ask was it still hitting the bottom teeth. Why ask when you have told me if it doesnt you arent doing anything except give me a refund make me mad and kick me out! I saved myself the frustration didn't answer and walked out! POOR SERVICE AT ITS HIGHEST! APPALLED...BEWARE!

Have been going to Dr. Cowan for over a decade. Always thorough, gentle and conservative in treatment so you don't get unexpected bills. Won't go anywhere else!

Worst customer service I have ever received. Dr Cowen is extremely rude and could care less about his patients. Will never be returning to this place. Gave it a one star because nothing less is possible but they are not even worth that.

Arrogant and overcharged

Would not recommend this dentist to anyone. He's dishonest and rude. My family has a dental discount plan and this office takes it. The plans covers 2 free cleanings a year with a hygienist. My husband and I were patients first and we decided to also bring our children to his office for their cleanings. The first time I scheduled their cleaning with the hygienist my husband took them and afterwards my daughter came home complaining. She's only 10 so the second time I scheduled them for their cleaning with the hygienist I took them myself to make sure I could talk to her about my daughter. I went in with my daughter and right away I realized that something was not right. My son was already with the hygienist and the one that called us back was an assistant. Long story short - The assistant was only going to polish my daughters teeth. When I asked why my daughter wasn't seeing the hygienist the dentist came to me and turned things around saying an assistant by law can't clean a… child's teeth. That she only needed a polish at her age. Well, I made it clear to him that I didn't ask for an assistant, that I scheduled her for a cleaning and when he realized he couldn't trick me he finally said well if you want a cleaning with her you'll have to pay for it. I was so confused so I tried to explain to him that the plan would cover her cleanings but instead he avoided my point and got rude and loud. I couldn't believe what was happening. My daughter and I were shocked. I told him that his treatment was unacceptable and I asked for all of our records. I notified our dental discount plan and was told that my daughter should have received a cleaning by a hygienist and that she was covered for two per year. The doctor is under contract and should have provided the service. That's when it all made sense. He gets what the plan gives him for being under contract, then he doesn't provide the service and the parent thinks their child had a cleaning. He messed with the wrong parent. Thank God I went back with my daughter that day and I found out how dishonest he was.
