I have always been drawn to the medical field and being able to care for others. When I was younger I remember how my provider knew everything about me and my family. I want to provide that same feeling for patients and their family.

It is important to me to take time with patients to listen and gather their whole story. I want to know what makes that patient who they are, build a trusting relationship and be able to individualize the care provided.

I feel that my nine years of experience as both a preoperative and postoperative registered nurse have given me the opportunity to see first-hand what patients and their family go through during the surgical process.

I understand that patients can be anxious before procedures. I want to take my experience and use that to educate and help comfort patients and their family during their surgical journey.
