Dr. Whitney Marlow, MD

My cataract surgery with Dr. Marlow was an ideal experience, start to finish. Excellent communication throughout the process and excellent results. The staff, facilities, everything was thorough and well organized. I had completed an evaluation at a different facility last year and was not comfortable with things there, so did not go forward. This year, I did another evaluation with Dr. Marlow at Ideal Eye -- totally different experience. She clearly and fully answered all of my questions and provided guidance in decisions I needed to make. I am claustrophobic and told Dr. Marlow this and asked if there were elements of the process that could be a problem for me. She took this seriously and walked me through exactly what would take place, and I felt confident that I would be okay. By the way, for fellow claustrophobes, not all doctors operate the same way in eye surgery! There are still doctors who cover your face during surgery (Dr. Marlow does not), so be sure to ask about this.
