I have a condition called hidradenitits ..all other drs I have seen try to put a “bandaid” on it. With cortisone shots and antibiotics However ultimately it comes back . The thing to do is have it removed as soon as possible .. Dr Bobila is the best !!!!! Compassionate and a great surgeon ! His staff is amazing also ! Will miss him dearly when he retires .. but wish him all the best in his future years. ..

I was diagnosed with diverticulitis in the hospital and was very fortunate that Dr. Wilbur Bobila was assigned as my physician. Having spent endless months in the hospital in tremendous pain and facing a complicated resection procedure, I felt terrified and overwhelmed. Dr. Bobila assured me that everything would be ok, which doctors sometimes do, but it was his genuine empathy and honest confidence that helped me truly believe it. I put my faith and trust in him and he restored my hope. Dr. Bobila devoted nearly five hours operating on me and thanks to his surgical skill, I did not need a colostomy bag. What a huge relief! He even met me in the Emergency Room when I was having trouble with a drain tube and personally attended to the situation. During each office appointment, he was always willing to invest all the time necessary not only to provide information about my care, but to answer all of my questions in a calm, friendly manner that was very comforting to me. He and his staff… are so courteous and helpful. Dr. Bobila even spent significant time on the phone with the hospital to ensure that I received the precise (non-routine) diagnostic tests I needed and expedited both the appointment and the results to optimize my treatment. Dr. Bobila is a doctor with a HEART who truly cares about PEOPLE not just "patients", and that is very rare in the medical profession. I highly recommend him and his practice for quality health care with a truly HUMAN touch!

I agree with the previous reviewer. The wait was a little longer than I expected, but I realize that is because the doctor spends as much time as the patient needs to feel comfortable with the diagnosis or any questions I had. The surgery went very well. Seems like a very caring human being.

Wait time was longer than I expected but then realized it was only because the Dr spent good quality time with each patient. Visit was not rushed. All questions were answered and I could tell the Dr Bobila really cares. I was very impressed and would recommend him to anyone. Staff was very friendly and helpful too.
