Dr. Will Innocent, MD

The doctor FAILED to mention my mother had an abnormal mammogram and even congratulated her for being perfectly healthy. IF the radiology company had never contacted us that she had an abnormal mammogram and we needed to follow up we would have never known. This is very unprofessional and shows that the doctor takes LITTLE to no interest in the health of his patients. Very disappointed.

Super dirty and careless

He was very rude and didn't address my concerns at all and when asked questions he doesn't even give straight answers. Terrible

First of all EVERYTHING is dirty and dusty, no joke not even the computer uses. It looks like he hasn't had the patient rooms cleaned in months. He didn't ask me any questions and prescribed me some random meds, proceeded to not explain how they will help and said he "didn't have time" when I asked him a question. I don't know how he is even a doctor to be honest. I would'nt recommend him to my worse enemy.

During my visit I received the better care than I had during my previous 24 years while stationed at Ft Bragg. Dr. Innocent is very detailed and thorough, this was my first visit to any VA. I am glad I have met him and he is my Primary Care Manager, he is very hard working, intelligent, and has an excellent bedside manner. My medical issues are not easy issues to work with but he has given me information about my medical care/diagnosis than I have ever received. The VA is not an easy place to work with the size and vastness of issues that the staff is presented with; however Dr. Innocent is professional with a positive attitude.

unprofessional, sloppy in care

He is one of the best doctors I ever had. I recommend him without reservation. He has been my doctor for the past 6 years. I am totally satisfied with his medical service. He is a smart man, a compassionate and caring individual.

Don't even bother. Not only will his bedside manner send you running under the exam table, (he would not even look me in the eye), he ordered what seemed to be expensive and unnecessary tests (i care, even tho insurance would paid for them). He also ordered bloodwork which included tests for every STD on the planet even after i told him i abstain! He dismissed my questions about tests- why are we doing this test? Do you have any ideas on what could be going on with me? Why would I need that test? What would it show? ("this not good", "don't you worry", "*I* take care of this" etc) The office staff, while on the "friendly" end of the "friendly-rude" spectrum, barely understood English and after repeating simple questions ("may I have a copy of that privacy policy before I sign a document saying that I received one?") 4 or 5 times, with blank stares in return, I gave up. After my visit w/ Dr. Innocent, he left the room to write up the test referrals. He never came back. The "nurse"… came in to tell me i could leave.I said- "no one took my temperature... would you like to do so before I leave?" The "nurse" replied "no, that's okay" I told her that was one of the reasons that I had come in (persistent fever) she said "if he wanted to know your temperature he would have asked me to take it and he didn't" They scheduled my "follow up" appointment for 3 months later- at which time we would review the test results. Three months? If they were so concerned that something bad could be going on with my health, why would i have to wait 3 months to get the results or to have them reviewed? Are blood work results relevant 3 months later>?Lastly, and most unprofessionally, I received a letter 10 days later from Dr. Will Innocent himself, stating that "we find it necessary to inform you that we will not be able to handle your case due to the fact that we won't be able to meet your expectations. We suggest you find a new PCP within the next 30 days.." I appreciate their recognition and acknowledgement that they were ill-equipped to handle a patient who might dare to ask questions, but I never even got any of the test results back. If I give the benefit of the doubt and assume that my "case" is too complicated for them because something came back in the test results that shows i am really sick, why dismiss me in a letter with no explanation of what makes my case complicated?
