Dr. Willard Wong, MD

After dealing with horrible pain for the last 3 years the “doctor” had no answers to what it was. You would think 31 years of experience you would know what you’re looking at. He was dismissive and came to the conclusion of “I don’t know where the pain is coming from” therefore you should see a pain management specialist. That’s the solution let’s not treat the real issue here that’s has been ruining my wellbeing. It’s easy after 31 years to just keep passing the buck off to someone else and not do your job which is to treat people. I would not recommend seeing Dr. Wong if you want to be taken seriously as a human or patient. Not a very kind and sensitive “doctor” he passed off my chronic pain as nothing don’t bother.

I found this Doctor to be very confident in himself, curt and taking Dr. notes. Poor communication skills and arrogance also top the list of bad. The office kept us waiting; then when I asked to get child x-rays. Doctor says, "No, no I can't wait." this is before he even makes an appearance in the exam room. I can understand that time is precious. Was referred to this doctor by child's pediatrician. He suggested a brace for the back which we ordered. Went on with life with Scoliosis and a child having to wear a restrictive brace for 18 hours a day. When a new diagnosis is given about a child with Severe Spinal Curvature A LOT of information is thrown at the parent. Sometime later pediatrician says the back is not getting better so we head back to Dr. Wong for a second time. He proceeds to lecture parent on not following up with him. Last we heard it was one visit. "I have it in my notes." the doctor says. Congratulations for your notes! This was never communicated… to us. I think he may be afraid of being sued. I was so angry that he could not care enough to have someone call us, take a minute to notify us of a need to return. The first visit was in 2014 and second visit in 2015. It has been 3 years and I'm still steamed at this man. Story continued with a Stanford doctor giving child the needed treatment. The best thing Dr Wong did for us was refer to a Stanford surgeon.

He is a complete and utter jerk. I'm not sure how he is allowed to practice medicine. He kept me waiting for an 1 1/2 and then dismissed me like I didn't exist and was done with me in under 5 minutes.

This doctor has misdiagnosed my husband twice. Both times he said PT is all that is needed and both times he was wrong. He is rude and short. No bedside manner whatsoever!

He has been my doctor for over a year and honestly i wouldnt wont no one else near my back.

Dr Wong was very curt, disinterested and not thorough with examining the problem.
