What a waste of time. All he knows is to hand out pain pills. If you want pain pills, he’s the man to see.

Do not see this doctor! He does not care about his patients and he LIES! He doesn’t even deserve one star

I don't know who is leaving bad reviews but he is spectacular and I'm writing this after he cancelled my contact. Very personable, good bedside Manor and he really listened to me. I seen his name while looking for a new dr. He Dropped me because my paper script got stolen which I understand because that's how he feeds his family. THANK YOU DR. ACKERMAN FOR HELPING ME AS LONG AS YOU DID. Maybe someday I can be a patient again. SERIOUSLY IT WAS MY RESPONSIBILITY AND I HAVE ZERO HARD FEELINGS.I have scoliosis, degenerative disc disease, and had a 400lb concrete block fall on me and crushed my lower vertebrae. I was in intensive care for a week and have had no surgery, lack of ins and I'm in pain writing this so you know he made a good impression on me. I don't know what people expect but if you need meds he will give it but if you are just Dr shopping keep moving because he will look at your factual med records and go from there. The man has the best personality ever. I've seen the nurse… come get him because we were talking after he was done and he had other patients to see. Just wish I HADN'T SCREWED IT UP because starting over with a new, unknown Dr is not fun. New dr's always suspect people are just looking for dope and regardless of med problems don't give meds. The last Dr I seen told me to do chair exercise, SERIOUSLY THAT'S SUPPOSED TO FIX ALL MY PROBLEMS.

I have severe nerve damage.Lost the use of right arm fully, and feet are too painful to walk at times.He complained 4 times about me not being a member of a gym,told me I didn't have fibromyalgia"no you don't,that's a woman's disease"quote.Then walking out told me I was useless"so,you sit on your butt 24 hours a day, staring out the window and you want hydrocodone for that?"dismissed me without a word(letter).Put N/A on reason,illegal.Even though myself and reg. nurse have tried he will not give a reason, I still suffer.Should be stripped of license.

Dr. Ackerman is very Knowledgeable. He is confident in his diagnosis and treatment of pain! If there are diagnosis that he is not able to treat, he does not hesitate to refer the patient to get proper care!

I was sent for an injury during military training. Tricare set it all up, I had no say in any of it. The treatment worked, but that ended 6 months ago. I've been sidelined because his office won't release my medical records to me or the military. They can't find the time to send them to the base, and now, because they are too lazy to fax a few pages, I'm in danger of medical discharge. The lady said if I needed my records so badly I could pay for them. Since when do you have to pay for medical records? I'm fighting Tricare now so I can see a different doctor, just to get a medical release, and pay out of my own pocket. A lazy staff and inconsiderate doctor shouldn't cost me my military career.

get another doctor.. he only pushed pills , walks out an leaves you thinking his coming back then he sends a non caring nurse....with your next appointment. if your needing the staff any one to send a fax to help you get your disability started good luck .. you have to go to their office an hope they will help you .. if you want them to fax info to who needs it your out of luck..they wont even send info to your prescription place so you can get your mail prescriptions to you..he needs to get another staff .. his rude an their rude ...I would not ever recommend him or his office to anyone ..
