Dr. William Chadwick Armstrong, MD, FACC

Dr. William Armstrong is a cardiologist who specializes in cardiovascular disease. He completed his medical education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center before pursuing advanced training through both his residency and fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His board certification includes Fellowship of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), demonstrating his expertise in cardiac care. Dr. Armstrong is fluent in English.

Dr. Armstrong practices at The Chattanooga Heart Institute with locations in both Chattanooga and Hixson, Tennessee. He focuses on managing high blood pressure conditions, including hypertensive emergencies and pediatric hypertension cases. His diagnostic expertise includes performing contrast echocardiography and transthoracic echocardiograms to evaluate heart function, as well as conducting electrocardiograms to assess heart rhythm and electrical activity.
