Dr. William Tyler Baldock

William T. Baldock, D.D.S., M.S.
Periodontist
Dr. William T. Baldock is a specialty trained periodontist with over 25 years of experience in treating periodontal disease and in placing successful dental implants. He received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the Ohio State University and a Masters Degree in Periodontology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Baldock has advanced training in periodontal plastic procedures, surgical placement of dental implants and conscious sedation. He is certified and licensed in sedation dentistry in Florida. He also taught at Ohio State University's College of Dentistry in Oral Diagnosis and Oral Medicine. Additionally, he served as a officer in the United States Air Force.
Dr. Baldock was recognized by Tallahassee Magazine and the local community as the Best Surgical Doctor in 2010. The "Best of Tallahassee Readers Choice Poll Awards" were presented in October 2010 to winners in various categories. Dr. Baldock was recognized …for his excellent treatment of gum disease and dental implant surgeries.
Dr. Baldock is a member and former trustee of the American Academy of Periodontology and a member and past president of the following professional organizations: the Southern Academy of Periodontology, the Florida Association of Periodontists, and the Leon County Dental Society. He is also on the Dental Advisory Board at Tallahassee Community College's Dental Hygiene School. He has also been a lecturer at national dental conferences on periodontal disease management and bone grafting. Dr. Baldock also served as chairman of Technology Day at the American Academy of Periodontology's Annual Conference.
He has authored numerous articles in professional publications about periodontal disease, treatment modalities and practice management. He practices in Tallahassee, Florida and is married with three children.
