I think sometimes patients expect their doctors to be omnipotent. Patients need to do a little homework of their own. Make a list of the questions you want to ask him. The schedulers set aside a block of time for the issue the patient gives them at the time the appt. is made. Then, once the doctor is in the room, they get hit with 20 more issues that require additional time or a new appt. Don't do this to your doctor. Remember, he's your doctor, not your buddy. He's got stuff going on that we can't even imagine. What is Obamacare going to do to Lee's Summit Physician's Group? We don't know yet. If you have Dr. Barnard as your primary physician, you had better be thankful.
