Dr. William J Baron, DDS

Dr. Baron graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1975. Following graduation,  he continued his dental training by completing a General Practice Residency in General Dentistry at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, NY. Prior, he received his Undergraduate Degree in Biology at Brooklyn College.  Dr. Baron received the prestigious Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry in 1986.
Dr. Baron has been in practice since 1977 and practicing at his Rockaway location since 1983. Since he began practicing dentistry, he has kept up to date by taking many continuing educational courses, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. He has completed courses on many facets of the profession, including Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry. He has been certified in the new Perio Protect System for periodontal health, Clear Aligner Therapy, AMD Diode Laser Therapy, and Oral CDX Brush Test. He has been trained at the Pankey Institute …for Advanced Dental Training, the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, the International Center for Laser Education and completed the Comprehensive Series in Creating Restorative Excellence at the Kois Institute.
Dr. Baron has been nominated to the prestigious Pearl Network (Practitioners Engaged in Applied Research and Learning). The Pearl Network is an exclusive network of highly qualified dentists engaged in leading edge research sponsored by the National Institute of Health (NIH). Dr. Baron is on staff at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville and Dover, New Jersey for 25 years. He has been past co-Chairman of the Dental and Oral Maxillofacial Department there. He has lectured on "Dentistry for the Disabled," "Diabetes and Its Relationship to Dentistry" and "Oral CDX Brush Test in Helping Prevent Oral Cancer." 
Dr. Baron is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Tri County Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Center for Laser Education, the New Jersey Foundation for Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities, Morris Area Dental Assosiates and Morris Seminars. He has also been a member of the Amercian Academy of Periodontology and the Amercian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Baron is a Paul Harris Fellow and member of the Rockaway Rotary Club and the Lions Club of the Rockaways.
Dr. Baron lives in Rockaway and is married to a marvelous woman, Joanna, who is a Practice Administrator and Certified Designer and Decorator. He has a  wonderful daughter, Sheryl.
