Dr. William H Barth, MD

Dr. Barth is by FAR the best physician I have ever had. I was high risk given autoimmune issues and then second pregnancy I was also high risk due to being 35. My first pregnancy went to 38 weeks full term and Dr. Barth cared for me since my first trimester. He never ever rushed the appointments. He had such a calming tone to him. I was constantly riddled with anxiety and he and his team assured me every step of the way. On the day I was in labor, he was not the physician delivering due to scheduling but was in the hospital days following the birth and made it a point to stop into my room and check on me. It felt as if he was my dad making sure I was okay and it was so thoughtful. My second pregnancy I had unexpected complications due to cholestasis and needed to be induced. We made it to 37 weeks but he was not willing to go later than that. His advice and care allowed me to go as long as I could while maintaining my and my unborn child's health. He was right and I gave birth to a… healthy baby. I told him I was extremely itchy and he ran bloodwork and suspected my liver was not working properly. As soon as I got the bloodwork back he diagnosed me with cholestasis and we chose to be induced with his guidance in just a few days after the news. Post partum I had PPA both times and his wonderful team and on site social worker got me to a great mental state and never ever rushed me. I would trust Dr. Barth with my life. You will never meet a more caring provider than him. The best.

Dr. Barth is the best. The other reviews here are not just lip service. You literally feel as though you are his only patient. He is thorough, patient, and clear. When you've experienced loss, these two qualities are so important. I literally trust this doctor with life. Very fortunate to have him in the medical world.

I have been a patient of Dr Barths for 2 pregnancies, one of which was a twin pregnancy. Dr Barth and his nurse Anne are the best!! They take so much time and answer every question you may have. Dr Barth gives great detail when you ask about any concerns - doesn’t just tell you not to worry, he tells you why you don’t need to worry and then tells you if xyz should happen then you should worry. I always felt like I was his only patient and I truly trusted him with my life. If you’re high risk I would 100% recommend Dr Barth for your care.

Dr. Barth is a great doctor. When I developed pre eclampsia at 28 weeks he became my dr. When I was terrified Dr. Barth reassured me it would be okay and I would be monitored closely. He made my husband and I feel at ease that me and my unborn son were in the best hands. When my son was born early I was prepared because Dr. Barth told us what to expect. It was a difficult and scary time and he made us feel like it was going to be okay. My son is turning 1 and doing wonderful!! I highly recommend Dr. Barth!

Dr Barth treats every patient as if she were his only patient

Dr. Barth is a smart, caring, thorough doctor who guided me through my pregnancy after a previous miscarriage and stillbirth. I have a perfect 6 month old son now and I really believe it’s in part to to Dr. Barth’s care. He was always one step ahead and had an incredible understanding of my anxiety, walking me through nearly each week of my pregnancy until the end. He truly is a special human and I’d trust him with my life.

Dr. Barth is an exceptional doctor. He is an exceptional clinician and has a caring bedside manner. He was my doctor for two deliveries and I always felt as though I could ask any questions or contact he or Anne with any concerns I had. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Barth and Anne, both as people and medical professionals.

My wife (pediatrician) and I (psychiatrist) found out she had to deliver by c-section unexpectedly. Dr Barth broke the news in a remakably humane fashion, and was wonderful throughout the procedure, which I could hear him carefully supervising. Cannot recommend him enough.

I had a high risk pregnancy with many complications and Dr. Barth took excellent care of me. I have him to thank for helping me to deliver healthy twin boys despite numerous medical issues and lengthy hospital stays. He has excellent bedside manner and I would definitely recommend him to anyone with a complicated pregnancy!

I have never met a more caring doctor. The best bedside manner during a stressful time along with very thorough knowledge and takes the time to discuss all details!
