Dr. William C. Bayer, MD

I have been with Dr. Bayer for about a year with diabetes 2. He is very professional, listens well and answers all my questions.

Worst bedside manner ever. It seemed he didn't care at all. It seemed like he was in a rush and didn't want to talk to me. His explanations were curt and mean. I would not recommend this physician to anybody.

Dr Bayer acted like a robot. Dr Bayer made eye contact 5 seconds during the entire appointment. He spent all his time filling out forms on his computer instead of listening to any concerns I had. His bedside manner is horrible, he is extremely unwilling to entertain other professional opinions. He was very concerned about "if insurance will cover" instead of the care of the patient, save yourself the frustration find a different doctor who cares about your health & issues.

Dr. Bayer has been my endocrinologist for about a year. He has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable about my condition and is treating it very well. I feel I am in good hands under his care.

I tried to schedule an appointment as a new patient with this doctor. After being on hold for over fifteen minutes, a human voice finally answered and said "Please hold." Was placed on hold for another two minutes. She finally picked up and I explained my situtation. The receptionist transferred me to someone in insurance benefits. WHen I told her my plan she said "OH, that's the one that doesn't pay as much." I told her I had no influence on what the negotiated rates were. She finally tranferred me back to scheduling where I was placed on hold AGAIN. OVer 25 minutes to schedule an appointment....I hate to see what the office looks like. Not that I will ever find out. I'll seek a different doctor.

Dr. Bayer was a very good listener and a great explainer of treatments, without being condescending. He actually asked if I had questions twice during our discussion and provided assurances that the condition was very treatable and would help me feel much better.

A doctor that listens, is intuitive and is well qualified. He seems to "care." Was very nice..Finally I feel like I am in good hands!

A very special Doctor and person. So easy to talk with and is always very helpful. There are times when I need to get in touch and he is willing to let me use his e-mail.
