Dr. William Joseph Beals

My experience with Dr. Beale was awful! He was treating me for depression and ADD. He misdiagnosed me with bipolar disorder (I later found out that he is not qualified to make such a diagnosis). After the medication he prescribed for me to treat the bipolar failed to work and I became severely and dangerously depressed, he crudely told me that there was nothing else he could do for me. Along with this horrid experience, he also prescribed me Adderoll and would give it to me in an envelope taped to his front door! He has also recently come into legal trouble for prescribing powerful medications to patients with out having any phisical contact with those patients. He has also been found guilty of mishandling and personally abusing powerful pain medications and abusing alcohol! I cannot recommend seeking the aid of a different doctor strong enough! If it were possible, I would rate him with less than 1 star.

Been in trouble with state. Took me off meds I needed and forgot to tell me that he can't right those kind of prescriptions anymore caused me so many problems.

I'm glad he's treating me because I feel he's the only one that understands my addiction.He's not dumb and doesn't take crap from anyone.If your trying to pull a fast one on Dr.Beals then your not fully committed to recovery!He is one of the few doctors that prescribes Suboxone so don't ruin it for people like us who are really trying to Recover!Dr.Beals is my hero.

Dr. Beals is experienced and kind. He can be blunt if you're not honest with him. Knows what he's doing.

dr. beals has been treating my addiction for some time nowand never once have i had any problems,addiction doesnt wait for anything so if hes being stern its because a disease is taking over your body, and mind.... if hlaf these ppl listened to him it wouldnt had been such a bad experience.... FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS THE MEDS MIGHT BE IN THE SAME CATEGORY BUT ALL HAVE DIFFRENT EFFECTS

Dangerous.

Dr. Beals was only interested in prescribing one medication (this was a new medication and he had all the "props" from the pharmaceutical rep and free samples to provide) which was in the same group as meds that previously didn't work. When I called (as directed by Dr. Beals) to tell him the medication was not working, he told me to go back to my other doctor. He was cold and quite unprofessional and seemed not to care about the 5 year old patient he was supposed to be treating and helping. Beware! Awful experience!

Smart, treats opiod dependency intelligently with suboxone, no non-sense, and thats what patients need whether they like it or not
