He is active with the Spine Intervention Society (SIS) on their research division, annual program planning committee, research mentorship committee and has been involved in four studies that have won the best research award at the SIS annual meeting. These were studies related to cervical epidural safety, intradiscal stem cell injections and the natural history of cervical radiculopathies.
