Dr. William Joseph Berghoff, MD

Dr. Berghoff completed both of my knee replacement surgeries. He did an amazing job. Both surgeries and recoveries went perfectly. I am so grateful to him for helping me get my life back.

He did my husband's knee replacement. One complication after another. Wrong band put it, then lung enbolism that almost took his life. His nurse very rude, when my husband told her about the pain, and that he couldnt even walk on it. She said what do you expect its a fake knee. He was promised a meal at a restaurant, he is a part owner. He said my nurse will get you reservations, she will call, that never happened. My husband had another Doctor fix his knee. I would never let my husband go back to him, and his rude nurse. I reported him, and his rude nurse.

Dr Berghoff has performed 3 major surgeries on me 2 hips and my right knee. Although my knee give me trouble at time it wasn't bad until recently I could live with the pain. recently it got to the point I was in constant pain. I called for an appointment and was told he was 4 weeks out. I asked if they could at least take a picture to rule out anything serious. They said they would call back. That was at 8:30 Am. Never heard anything that day. Called back the next day and was told they would have someone get back to me on getting in earlier. Much later that day I received a call from a cheery person saying she was able to get me in Jan 22nd. That was the date I was given the previous day. Then I did something I haven't done in 40 years I lost my cool. I think in was more the pain than anything else. But said somethings I shouldn't. For that I was wrong. This was an Error of Judgement on the Doctors part. There is a piece that he could have added on my knee . Some need it some don't… he figured I didn't. That wasn't the case with me and I needed it. Now I am in extreme pain. A couple of days later I receive a letter saying they no longer want me as a patient . After 25 years and 4 surgerys they boot me out and say to find another Doctor. That is just wrong on so many Levels. Now where do I go.

Excellent physician, patient and understanding , superior surgical skills

He replaced my hip. Smooth operation and recovery. Great on communication and direction. Would recommend in a heart beat.
