As a teenager, I knew something was going on and I needed a diagnosis so I could get better. He ignored me and said I was self diagnosing. We’ll, I do have OCD and I have since been diagnosed. There were so many years wasted, living in fear, because you refused to help me when I needed you. I could never understand how you were successful.

In Montreal he delivered both my children. The first was a Frank Breech, no chances were taken and we opted for a planned c-section at 39 wks gestation. The second was a regular past full term birth. Both my sons are perfect and I have only praise for this doctor. Thank you Dr. BIlek!!

I was seen by Dr Bilek for my pregnancy in 2003 in Woodstock GA. He was dismissive of all my concerns throughout the pregnancy, often saying things like "it's normal, you just don't remember since your last pregnancy was 7 years ago". Towards the end of my pregnancy, I started feeling like something was wrong. Again, I was met with dismissiveness and a refusal to check me out or do an ultrasound. At 36 weeks, my daughter died and I had to deliver her stillborn. I believe that if he had listened to my fears and done an ultrasound when asked, he might have spotted the nuchal cord issue and possibly intervened and saved her life. And to add insult to injury, Dr Bilek did a hurried job stitching up my episiotomy, refusing to believe me when I said the local anesthetic was not working, and proceeded to stitch me up while I could feel everything. When I told him I could feel it, he said "no, what you feel is pressure". I felt every stitch he placed and laid there crying while my mom held my… hand. The stitches were done poorly and I've had issues with my perineum ever since. I would advise all women to steer clear of him. I also find it really concerning that he keeps moving around from one area to another. Seems like a huge red flag all on it's own.

I was sexually assaulted by Dr. William Bilek when he was a gynecologist in Montreal. I was 17 years old. There is a reason why he left Montreal...I know I'm not the only one he sexually assaulted. If has done this to you, report him to the police.

I had Dr Bilek as my doctor from 1981-1995 in Montreal. I had nothing but great experiences with him. Although he wasn't there to deliver my two children, he came to see me in the hospital morning and night. He put my mind at ease, was thorough and had a great sense of humour. I was sad to see him leave for the States. I haven't found a specialist that compares to him yet. He was great!! Wish he would come back to Montreal!!

I had Dr Bilek in 1984 (long time ago!) in Montréal, he never saw that I had a very important pregnancy diabetis , he even suggested that I was lying to him for want of a free vacation from work. Hopefully, I changed doctor and had to spend most of the remaining time in hospital, my condition was so bad, so don't talk to me about this uncaring, unprofessional and non inquisitive Professional. At the time I didn't have the energy to sue him and now I don't care anymore.

I gave birth with Dr. Bilek's care at Northside Hospital. I was very young and it was my first baby. He didn't explain anything about the process to me and I was afraid throughout my pregnancy. He told me that nursing 'ruins breasts'. He was too rough on me during delivery and he only showed up during the pushing phase. Dr. Bilek applied external pressure so intensely that I tore severely as my baby came out and my baby aspirated fluid and was immediately taken away from me for days. I was not allowed to touch her or hold her for 24 hours even though nurses were and I missed the important initial bonding phase. I'd also been threatened with an unnecessary c-section unless I submitted to the many interventions that I'd clearly expressed I didn't want. I was overpowered and frightened by his staff at his orders. He did not follow up with me at all, and I went into a deep postpartum depression. I also developed a uterine infection a few days after birth due to pieces of… placenta left carelessly behind. That was 13 years ago. I hope he's better these days. But as a result of his rough treatment of me when I was most vulnerable, I will NEVER give birth in a hospital again.
