Dr. William J. Blaskis, DO

Dr Blaskis is arrogant, disrespectful, and overall useless to patients who want to get better. He not only misdiagnosed me, but he refused to refer me to a specialist. I suffered with my symptoms, untreated, for months because of this.

I don’t know that I’ve ever left a bad review/complaint as I’m one to have a “very long fuse” when it comes to people & experiences, but my most recent experience with Dr. Blaskis and his office was the worst medical experience I have ever had. If I could leave a “zero” star, then I would. My full review with details is on Google. But overall - Dr. Blaskis left my husband “high & dry” and refused to see him cuz he was showing COVID symptoms even after 3 negative COVID tests. He presumed my husband had Acute Renal Failure & said to go to the ER. We went to a local urgent care after being denied service from Dr. Blaskis & was diagnosed with Pneomonia. Dr. Blaskis was going to send my husband into the belly of the beast - the ER with tons of COVID. He never called my husband to follow up after directing him to the ER. The urgent care we went to did 2 days after being seen. I’ve never been more disappointed in a doctor before and I feel like he failed the Hippocratic oath.

My wife has been suffering from gastric issues and was seen by one of the doctors in his office. That doctor diagnosed GERD, based on the then current symptoms; he did what he could at the time. My wife's symptoms multiplied and grew more severe. With repeated attempts to speak with Dr. Blaskis, her primary physician, and reach him through a very disorganized office communication system, my wife's symptoms grew worse to the point where she asked the original doctor she saw if she could become his patient. We have yet to hear back from him or Dr. Blaskis, except for his telling her to continue to take the prescribed medicine. Communication would have helped. We now think, based on her symptoms and our own research, that she has a more serious condition than was thought. We still await Dr. Blaskis's response.
