Dr. William Alan Blume, MD

I have been a long time patient and he has always been a good doctor. Staff has always been nice.

I love Dr Blume to death. He's great. I went to him for years and later, so did my children. I ended up leaving when his office manager started being rude with me. I sometimes have to get my youngest daughter in the office asap due to her lung disease. Her infections become deadly and if not seen....well...I'd rather not say it. Her specialist recommended I find another doctor because the office manager always had a hard time fitting her in or if I showed up trying to get in, she'd slam the window on me. Literally. I am appalled at the treatment I received from her. I left the office never to return. I miss him as a doctor, but I wish he'd take a closer look at the staff. Doc himself, I give ten stars, but the staff, zero.

I like Dr. Blume! He has been very kind & professional w/me! He has delivered both of my children & did a GREAT JOB! I truly feel like HE DOES NOT SPEND ENOUGH TIME W/ME DURING MY APPOINTMENTS! HE IS IN & THEN OUT! I HAVE TO MAKE A LIST & TALK AS FAST AS I CAN TO GET IN ALL MY QUESTIONS BEFORE A NURSE COMES KNOCKING ON THE DOOR TELLING DOC. HE HAS A PHONE CALL which is his way out I believe! This last year I feel like he has been pretty sarcastic w/me @ times. My husband said that if he is sarcastic/hateful w/me one more time we are leaving & NEVER GOING BACK TO HIM AGAIN! This makes me sad because I have gone to him for close to 23 years! I know he was a lot nicer & took more time then than he does now.

I went to this doctor once and that was enough. His staff is rude and nasty and are more worried about getting paid and money.. "They do not care about how sick you are and if you are going to be treated" all they care about is when and if your going to pay them..

Dr. Blume is quick to prescribe medications without first trying to see what other things could be adjusted in a person's lifestyle to help correct their problem. While he is kind, he tends to not follow up with patient's regarding their problems and his staff refuses to answer the phones, rather letting it continually ring off the hook instead of answering it in a timely fashion...then, when it is answered, they are immediately put on hold without so much as a chance to inform anyone as to why they are calling. I've been a patient of Dr. Blume's since 1992, and I've been a witness to the front office staff, having nothing else to do, answer the phone, immediately put the person on hold, and go back to doing nothing.

I have been a patient of Dr. Blume's for 20 years and I have been extremely happy with his care and staff.
