Dr. William Patrick Boyan, MD

This office is sub par. Rude on the phone - not helpful at all. Dr. Boyan is also rude and doesnt even look at you eye to eye when in the office. All he does is look down at his Ipad. The office staff is the icing on the cake - never answer the phone and have to call back 10 time to speak to someone. Always having to follow up on test results, record transfers etc.

Dr. Boyan is a caring, good physician who deserves far better in support staff than he has. The only decent person I have ever met in the entire office is Leslie. The rest hate their lives, and presumably their jobs. He'll be the first to tell you how many mistakes they make, but he doesn't fire them. I wonder if he cares at all. Unfortunately, the doctors lack of management over their ridiculous front desk staff is non-existent. The consequences to the patients? Appoints given and then changed without the patient being notified for one. The moment the front desk staff comes into play, is the moment where all things go bad. Each of them angry, upset, feeling overwhelmed and unappreciated; have a terrible affect on patients. Patients (who should be referred to as customers). And if what they do is considered customer service, then every patient should seek out a spiritual healer or Shaman. You have Cristina, who actually tells patients that the doctors are "losers" and… make mistakes to the tune of malpractice. You have Cathy; who acts like a bipolar fool off her meds. You have Diane; who should be working at Jenkinson's as a bouncer instead of pretending to be a receptionist and finally Kristen (whose heart and mind for her job as office manager has been gone for years now). Together, this team of miscreants spend their days wining about their lives, complaining about their jobs and misrepresenting those who pay them. (If you hate your jobs so much ladies, quit and go somewhere else. Sick people deserve empathy; and you are there to serve them, though you act as though there is a complete role reversal). You make mistakes, you lie to cover them. Nothing is ever your fault.. You cover for each other and the patient/customer ends up losing. Your absurdity knows no bounds as you have a taped message that actually tells people your phones are busy and to call back. Heaven forbid you put in a system that is professional and reminds you to call your customer. No, the system is left to the senior citizen with re-dial to hit again and again and the winner gets in to see the doctor if there is space. You are rude, callous and thoughtless. You have no compassion. And so the image you cast is a reflection on the doctors you are paid by. As they lose patients and wonder why; I can only hope for their sake that they have read this. Leave your miserable lives and problems at home ladies. We all have them. For many of us, being sick is intolerable at times. Your attitudes, lack of compassion and incompetence are more than some of us can bare. So, we can only hope that your doctor's schedules open up and that they don't do well in-spite of your best efforts to destroy the practice. If you were a retail store, you would have closed long ago and told where to go at the same time. High school students would better represent the physician's of this practice better than the 'tired', uncaring and snotty menopausal idiots who currently do.....

I must agree with the last review. He has a new electronic file for each patient. It is always wrong. He reads if off each time you visit and each time you tell him what is wrong or inaccurate but he never updates it. Oh and he blames the "girls" up front for not entering the info properly. He does rush you and usually there is no one in the waiting room. And I too bring a list of questions and ask before the exam. Once he is finished with you, you are done. And barely a good-bye. I am tired of repeating myself with the same issues and reminding him of my allergies. I must be my own advocate. But I too am told that he is better then most in this part of NJ.

Staff is wonderful. The Dr. seems to rush you. You must bring a list of questions and get them answered before exam. After exam you get rushed out. He now reviews your past history electronically. You must remind him of your history and/or condition. Office is never crowded but you are still rushed. Although I have been his patient for three years, seeing him at least 4x a yr. he still doesn't seem to remember you. I am told behavior is now typical in this part of NJ.

As a smoker, I felt he didn't like me much.
