Dr. Buckley was born in Fairview Hospital, and has lived in Cuyahoga County all of his life , with the exception of the two years in the Navy after graduating from Dental School.
His wife Barbara was born in Pennsylvania, and moved to Ohio when she was seven. They both graduated from Lakewood High School and went to Hiram College together. Barbara taught art in the Lakewood City schools while Bill went to Case Western Reserve Dental School. After the Navy they moved back to Rocky River, where Dr. Buckley established his practice on Detroit Road near Linda street, and raised two children, Brooke and Josh.
Dr. Buckley has held academic excellence as one of his guidelines, and has a Fellow of Academy of General Dentistry, along with a Diplomate in Orthodontics from Light Force America, and a Diplomate from the International Association for Orthodontics …(largest orthodontic association in the world), where he currently is President of the International Board. His lecturing in Orthodontics has taken him to Egypt, and soon to Poland, as well as many study clubs and several National Orthodontic meetings.
Dr. Buckley has also attended the Pankey institute(completed the continuum through C4), and has completed the three Comprehensive Dentistry Courses from Dr. Dawson. Dr. Buckley has taken many post graduate programs, that are too numerous to mention here. He enjoys his membership in the Cleveland Academy for Advanced Dental Education.
His practice is comprised of families and individuals who are seeking individual care by professionals who take the time to listen. They are waiting to meet you.
